BOSTON, Oct. 30, 2003 The Family Pride Coalition is pleased to announce that Volvo Cars of North America, LLC has presented the Elisabeth Dorries, Dana Beauvais and their four children with a one-year lease on Volvos new sports utility vehicle, the 2004 Volvo XC90. Volvo Cars of North America was a presenting sponsor of the Family Pride Coalitions 2003 Family Week gatherings in Saugatuck, Mich. and Provincetown, Mass.
The Dorries/Beauvais family, of Ipswich, Mass., won the lease during a drawing which took place during the Provincetown event. The keys were presented to the family at 128 Volvo in Wakefield, Mass. on Sat., Oct. 25.
During Family Week, Volvo representatives offered test drives of several of its models, and even participated in the annual Family Parade down Commercial Street.
"We believe Volvo added an exciting element to Family Week this year," said Aimee Gelnaw, executive director of the Family Pride Coalition. "Through their support, they truly acknowledge the value of our community and our families."

"All consumers appreciate marketing efforts that speak to them personally and support issues and events they care about. We believe the GLBT parents who are part of the Family Pride Coalition share an appreciation for the universal appeal of Volvo automobiles safety, quality and styling."
