Good thing I had some tissues ready. It's definitely evident that the Mayor of San Diego had a MAJOR change of heart and is now in favor of marriage equality! You can tell in the video that his words and actions are heartfelt and it's almost like a ton of weight has been lifted off of his shoulders by finally "coming out" with how he truly felt about this whole matter. Since he's a Republican, I'm sure the "leaders" of the party were keeping him in line all of these years and he's finally had enough! Good for him! Good for his family! Good for the LGBT community! Good for the whole world! I was also significantly moved because I was born in San Diego and still have lots of friends and family living there. And I'm also considering moving back because of California's more LGBT friendly environment.
