Gay and lesbian parents care deeply about their kids. They are wonderful parents. Websites that discriminate against parents based on their sexual orientation should not be allowed to operate.

I am an adult adoptee who was adopted to a straight married couple. They looked good on paper. "Young couple with 5 yr old son looking to build a bigger family. Seeking white, baby girl to share a life with a stay at home mom and a successful father."

YUCK.

Yes, they had money. Yes, they were white collar, married, straight, church going folks. But that DID NOT make them good parents. They were neglectful, ignorant, and narrow minded as hell.

Good parenting has nothing to do with a person's sexual orientation. Ruling out caring, loving parents who are willing and ABLE to give a child a wonderful life based soley on the fact that the parents are not straight and married (in the eyes of the law) is frankly, stupid.

P.S. I recently moved to Gilbert, AZ with my family. There is a LARGE Morman (AKA LDS) population here. An LDS church's spire can be seen from most parts of town.

I would not be surprised to learn that Adoption Profiles, LLC has Morman backing.

I believe they should have been sued. How dare they think that children who need homes are better off in mom/dad families. How many of the mom/dad families abuse them, beat on them , abandon them.

A loving home is a loving home and as long as both parents can love the child unconditionally and provide for the child, then they should have the right to adopt the child. Rather they are gay, lesbian, whatever. Love is love.
