When you hear jokes, comments or policies that are homophobic, transphobic, or derogatory regarding gender presentation or identity, call people out, regardless of the audience. When you stand up for us and our families, people might start saying that you’re gay and people might ask why you care so much about family equality. Your commitment is really appreciated, so know that at every step of the way we are here to support and encourage you.
